Call for abstracts
Instructions for submission
Abstracts should be related to one of the conference topics/sub-topics. Abstracts beyond this thematic frame are also welcome as long as they fit into the overall theme of the conference.
Abstract submission is performed only electronically by using the online submission system available on this website.
When you start, sign in as a New Account, fill in the mandatory items and give your valid email address.
The title should be typed in small letters, starting with a capital letter. Do NOT type the full title in capital letters. The title should clearly define the topic.
Rights of use
Acknowledgement of the conference organizer’s publishing rights is a compulsory prerequisite for abstract submission.
Body of abstract
The maximum size of abstracts is limited to 2500 characters, blanks included. Note: The submission process cannot be continued if the maximum abstract size is exceeded. The character limit does not include the title of the abstract or the author details; the limit is for the actual text of the abstract only. The abstract must be written in English. Please do not include any pictures or graphs.
Once the abstract information is complete, you can register additional authors with your abstract. The presenting author can be identified online by a green screen.
The system will automatically generate an email confirming your abstract submission. Until the submission deadline you can modify your abstract or add new authors by returning to the online Conference Control Centre. Use your user name and password to access the system directly.
If you wish to submit more than one abstract, start the submission process again.
Selection of contributions
The Scientific Committee (SC) will review all submitted abstracts and select those accepted for presentation in the conference programme. The SC has all rights to accept or reject an abstract. Accepted contributions will be presented either as oral presentations or posters according to the SC’s decision.
Authors will be notified of acceptance of their contributions and of the type of presentation (oral or poster) begin of March 2017.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the final programme (online and hardcopy), subject to the author’s confirmation of presenting the paper and registering as a paying delegate. The accepted abstracts will be published as typed by the author, including any errors in grammar, spelling or scientific facts.
